The Ecological Infant: Notes on Philippe Rochat’s The Infant World
Book Review

Dr. Rochat does not exceed his grasp but invites us to wonder along with him. He calls his book “one possible account of infant psychology” and will consider his story successful if it stimulates the reader’s “curiosity and sense of wonder” about infants. In this regard The Infant’s World is a success. As is often the way of the scientific world, however, it raises as many questions as it answers.
